Meg Kilcoyne for 12th Worcester District

A dedicated, effective, and independent voice for the 12th Worcester District. Meg brings her experience, collaborative approach, and deep commitment to public service to Beacon Hill every day, working to deliver real results for the people and communities she is proud to represent.

Putting the 12th Worcester First

Meg Kilcoyne is the current State Representative for the 12th Worcester District, proudly serving Berlin, Boylston, Clinton, Lancaster, Sterling, and Precinct 4 of Northborough. A dedicated public servant and strong advocate for her communities, Meg has worked to expand access to quality health care, support public safety, strengthen local services, and bring critical state resources home to the district.

Before being elected to the State House, Meg built a career rooted in public service and her community, including working for former State Representative Harold Naughton. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of how state government can be used to solve problems and make a meaningful difference in people’s everyday lives.

Meg is running for re-election to continue putting the 12th Worcester District first, delivering results for her communities, and ensuring that the people she represents always have an accessible and effective voice on Beacon Hill.

Meg On The Issues

Fighting for What Matters

Public Health and Safety

I’ve helped pass legislation regulating e-bikes, and supporting police when responding to mental health situations. As Vice Chair of the Healthcare Financing Committee, I’ve secured $2 million in funding for Clinton Hospital and passed a law to keep our nurses safe and to make sure cancer and Alzheimer’s patients can access critical care without insurance barriers.

Housing and Affordability

As Vice Chair of the Housing Committee, I secured billions in housing production including hundreds of thousands for safety upgrades in our senior housing as well as removing barriers for first time home owners. I fought to provide relief for the crumbling foundation crisis and filed legislation to prevent this from happening again. I’ve passed tax cuts for seniors and the middle class. I will keep fighting to keep our community affordable and people in their homes.

Education and Jobs

I’ve secured nearly $500 million in education funding and nearly $140 million for new schools. I’ve pushed to fully fund regional transportation and special education funding. I’ve passed legislation removing barriers for businesses and invested in greater access to vocational education. I will keep fighting for our fair share of investment in our kids.

Quality of Life & the Environment

I brought nearly $15 million back to the district in Wachusett reimbursements and fought to keep the Watershed clean and healthy. I’ve secured state funds to fix roads, protect against flooding, and prevent erosion. I’ve also helped fund our parks and open spaces. We need to keep fighting for our shared communities to get their fare share and make sure our towns thrive.
